Universal Construction Machinery & Equipments Ltd, Pune is tucked away near the Ekalavya Polytechnic in Kothrud. We are over at Shantiban Housing Society, B-8/12. It’s a bit of a different setup here than a big industrial park or a factory floor. Being in Kothrud means we are close to a lot of things, which is handy for getting around. You'll often find us buried in blueprints or on the phone trying to track down a specific part for a site across Maharashtra. The vibe is pretty low-key. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby or leather chairs. It’s just a practical office near the polytechnic where we get the real work done. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the traffic gets crazy on the main road, which it often does around here. We deal with construction gear every day, so we know how messy things can get on a real site. Here, we try to keep it somewhat organized, though there are always stacks of folders and catalogs everywhere. It's a small team and we’ve worked together for years. We know the local area well and we’ve seen Kothrud change a lot over time. It’s just home for us and our business. We just keep things moving and get the work finished.
