If you head over to Warje, right opposite the Cipla Foundation, you will find where we work. We are in Atulnagar, Phase 2, specifically in Building B-6, Flat 808 on the 8th floor. It is a residential area, but it is where Universal Construction Machinery & Equipment Ltd operates from in this part of Pune. Working from an 8th-floor flat gives us a decent view of the city traffic, but mostly we are focused on the equipment side of things. We are not a big shop floor here; this place is more for planning and coordination. Construction gear is heavy and complicated, so someone has to do the office work to keep it all moving. We handle a lot of the small details right here. It is a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but we do not mind much. Warje is a good spot for us because it is so close to the highway. We have stacks of paper and technical manuals all over the desks. It is not the most organized-looking office you will ever see, but we know where everything is kept. We talk to contractors all day long and sometimes we are working late to match the site schedules. It is just how the construction world works.
