Unity Hospital

Unity Hospital is located at Flat No 201 in the Daffodills building, which is part of Gulmohar City in Kharadi. Being in a residential and commercial complex like this gives the place a different feel than a standalone building. We are up on the second floor, so people usually take the elevator or the stairs to get to us. It’s a bit more quiet here than being right on the main road. The space is basically a converted flat, so it has a layout that feels a bit more like a home than a sterile clinic. We have the reception in what would have been the living area. It’s a small operation, but we make it work. Most of our patients are people who live right here in Kharadi or work in the nearby IT parks. We get to know the residents of Gulmohar City pretty well. Sometimes we run into our patients at the local grocery store. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a simple board so people know they are in the right place. The rooms are a bit small, but we keep them very clean. The staff is just a few of us who handle everything from the cleaning to the billing. We don't have a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly plain. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just open up every morning and wait for the first appointment of the day to arrive.
