Being up in A-603 and 604 at the ICC Trade Towers means we spend a lot of time waiting for elevators. This part of Senapati Bapat Road is always buzzing, and our office is no different. Turck India Automation is basically a bunch of desks, a lot of technical manuals, and people staring at screens or testing automation parts. It’s a professional building, but our office feels more lived-in. We have boxes of components sitting in the corners because the storage area is always full. Some days it’s really quiet, and you just hear the hum of the computers and the AC. Other days, it’s a bit of a mess with people running around trying to ship orders. We’ve got a small pantry where we mostly just make tea and talk about the weekend. It’s not a shiny corporate showroom; it’s a working office where we deal with sensors and cables. Sometimes the lights flicker, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but we never do. We’ve got a view of the city, which is nice when you need a break from looking at spreadsheets. It’s a decent place to work, even if the commute through the city traffic is a pain. We just focus on getting the automation bits right for whoever needs them. It’s straightforward work without much fuss. We’ve been in this tower for a bit, so we know the security guys and the local tea stall.
