Tip Top Mutton Shop

Tip Top Mutton Shop is over at Dhanakawadi A/30/3. It’s a corner spot that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. We’ve got the heavy chopping blocks and the hooks hanging from the ceiling. It’s a traditional shop, no glass displays or fancy lighting. We open up early, usually while it’s still dark out, to get the fresh meat in and start the prep work. The sound of the knives hitting the wood is the main thing you hear if you walk by. We have a regular crowd that comes in, mostly people from the nearby apartments who have been buying from us for years. We know most of them by name and how they like their meat cut. It’s a messy job sometimes, but someone has to do it. The floor is washed down multiple times a day to keep things tidy. We don't have a fancy delivery system; we just have a guy on a scooter for the local drops. The fridge hums loudly in the back and sometimes we have to kick it to make it stop. There isn’t much to the "About Us" other than we are here every day except Mondays. We just do our work, chat with the customers about the price of things, and head home when the stock is gone. It’s a simple life in Dhanakawadi, and we are fine with how things are.
