Thombre Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away in Nana Peth inside the Ramprasad Chambers. Most people know the area because of the Modern Bakery Chowk nearby. You can often smell the bread if the wind is blowing the right way in the morning. Being at 368/2, we have a decent spot that people can walk to from the surrounding neighborhood. The building itself has been around for a while, so it has that old Pune character. We have a small sign out front so people don't miss the entrance. Inside, the clinic is set up with a simple waiting area and a few rooms for consultations. The floors are old stone and stay relatively cool even when it’s warm outside. We see a lot of regulars who have been coming to this part of Nana Peth for years. The noise from the chowk is always there, with bikes and rickshaws constantly moving past the bakery. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s never a dull moment. Our desk is usually covered with files and a telephone that rings quite a bit. We don't have any flashy posters or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place for medical work. We start early and stay until the evening crowd thins out. It’s a small operation, but we stay quite occupied with the daily stream of people from the local area needing a checkup.
