The Learning Curve, Indrayani Nagar

The Learning Curve is located in a bungalow called Rugved, which is number 424 in Samarth Colony. We are right in the Indrayani Nagar area of Bhosari, quite close to Samarth High School. Since we are in a bungalow, the whole place feels much more like a home than a traditional institution. We have used the different rooms of the house for various activities, and the backyard serves as a little play area. It’s a quiet residential street for the most part, which is nice compared to the busier parts of Bhosari. We have a small gate at the front and some plants that we try to keep alive during the dry months. The inside is filled with shelves and toys, and there is always a bit of a mess to clean up at the end of the day. The staff here is just a few of us who manage the daily tasks. We don't have a big reception area or any corporate branding; it’s just a hand-painted sign and some posters on the walls. Most of the parents are our neighbors from Indrayani Nagar who walk their kids over in the morning. It’s a simple setup where we spend our time reading stories and helping the little ones with their basic tasks. We have to keep an eye on the plumbing and make sure the kitchen stays stocked with snacks. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of place to work. It really is just a house that we turned into a space for learning.
