The Learning Curve, Bavdhan

We’re tucked away in Shrushti Bungalow over in Amchi Colony. If you know the area in Bavdhan, we’re right across the lane from Hotel Masemari and close to the Bank of Maharashtra. It’s a nice little spot on Plot 47. We aren't a big, cold institution; we’re basically operating out of a house, which gives the place a different feel. It’s a bit more personal here. The Learning Curve is where we spend our time with the little ones, and it gets pretty lively. You’ll see toys scattered around and drawings pinned to the walls. We don't follow a corporate handbook on how to talk to people. We just chat with the parents when they drop off their kids and make sure everyone is comfortable. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good for us. We have a small yard where the kids can play, and we try to keep the plants alive. It takes a lot of energy to keep up with everything, from snacks to nap times. We don't have any grand statements to make about our philosophy. We just provide a space for kids to be kids while their parents are at work. Being in a bungalow in Bavdhan feels like being part of the local fabric. We're just here every day, doing the work that needs to be done. The birds sing in the trees nearby, and it’s usually quite peaceful until the kids wake up from their afternoon nap.
