The Brilliant Academy

We are located in Himalaya Apartment within Dahanukar Colony. This is in the Karve Nagar-Hingne Budrukh area of Pune. The Brilliant Academy has been in this building for quite a while now. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very safe and familiar for the kids who come here. We have a couple of rooms that we’ve set up with benches and whiteboards. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical place to study. Most of our students are from the schools nearby. They come in around 5 PM and stay for a couple of hours. We usually go through their science and math portions. I’ve noticed that kids these days have a lot of pressure, so we try not to add to it. We just sit down and work through the problems together. Sometimes we get a bit distracted talking about local news or a cricket match, but we always get back to the books. The apartment building is generally quiet, though sometimes you can hear people talking in the hallway. We have a small bookshelf with some old reference books that students can borrow if they need to. It’s a very simple operation. I do the teaching along with one other person. We don't have any big signs outside, just a small board so people know which door to knock on. It’s just an honest way to help the local kids with their studies. We just try to keep things steady.
