Taher Hardware Store

Taher Hardware Store is located at Shop No 20 in Kalyani Chambers. We’re right at S No 811/12 in Raviwar Peth, which is a very old and busy part of the city. If you know where the Subhanalla Hotel is, we are directly opposite that. The area is always crowded with people and carts, so getting here can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware bits. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We’ve been in Raviwar Peth for years. It’s a place with a lot of history and we feel like part of the furniture now. We open up early and stay late most days. People come in for all sorts of small things, from nails to bigger tools. We don't have a fancy computer system for inventory, we just know our stock by heart. It's a family-run kind of thing. We don't use any marketing tricks or big slogans. We just talk to our customers and help them find what they need for their home repairs. Sometimes we stay and chat with the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a tight-knit community here and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We aren't looking to change much, just keeping the store going as usual for as long as we can.
