Swastik Agencies is right in the heart of Shukrawar Peth, specifically at 10th Main in Srinivasnagar 2nd Block. Being so close to Mahatma Phule Mandai means we are surrounded by the constant buzz of the city's oldest market. The area is a maze of lanes, and we are tucked away in a spot that feels like it has been there forever. The building isn't much to look at, but it’s sturdy and holds all our inventory without complaining. Most of our day is spent unloading crates or checking through invoices at a desk that has seen better decades. It’s a noisy neighborhood, with the shouts of the market sellers and the rumble of delivery trucks starting well before dawn. We usually have the front doors wide open to catch whatever breeze comes through the narrow street, though mostly we just get the dust from the 10th Main traffic. Swastik Agencies is just a local business, run by people who have lived and worked in Shukrawar Peth for most of their lives. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy mission statement hanging on the wall. We just make sure the stock is sorted and the orders are ready to go out. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even in the peak of summer, which is a blessing. It’s a busy, cramped, and loud place to work, but it’s where we belong.
