Swapnil Dance Academy

Swapnil Dance Academy is based in the Khadki Satellite area. It’s a place where things are a bit more relaxed than the city center. The academy is basically a large room where we’ve put up some mirrors and cleared out the floor. You can hear the music from the street sometimes when the windows are open. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception. Usually, someone is just there to change the tracks or show the steps. The Khadki neighborhood is quiet, so the sound of feet hitting the floor really carries. People from around the satellite area drop their kids off or come in themselves after work. We don't use much corporate language or have a big list of rules. We just show up, turn on the lights, and start moving. The floor gets scuffed and the mirrors need cleaning often, but that’s part of the job. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of time repeating the same counts over and over. Sometimes it gets a bit sweaty and loud, but that is how a dance space should be. We aren't trying to be some high-end studio. We are just a local spot in Khadki where people come to learn a few moves. There is no pressure here. You just come in, do your best, and head home. It’s just us and the music in this little corner of the world.
