Our place is over at 31 Businesspagesctronic Co-Op Estate Ltd on Satara Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of industrial activity and small businesses working side by side. We’ve been at Svel Sensors & Controls Pvt Ltd for a good amount of time, focusing on sensors and all the control units that come with them. The co-op estate has its own rhythm, with trucks coming in and out and the sound of machines nearby. Inside our unit, it’s mostly just shelves and workbenches. We don’t go for anything too flashy because that doesn’t help get the sensors tested. It’s a lot of sitting under bright lights and checking small components to make sure they do what they’re supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes the estate a bit muddy, but we manage. We have a small team, and everyone knows where everything is, even when it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Satara Road is a main artery, so we see a lot of traffic passing by, which is good for logistics but loud for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the controls and parts as they come in. It’s a steady job, and we take it one day at a time. No one here wears a suit; we’re mostly in practical clothes because we’re always moving boxes or fixing something. It’s an honest way to spend the week, keeping the business running.
