We are located at Plot No 200 in Mangalwar Peth, right near the Vajan Kata Gadital. If you know this part of the city, you know there is always a lot of industrial stuff going on and people moving goods back and forth. Our yard is usually packed with different stones we have brought in, and we spend a lot of our time just trying to keep the piles from getting too disorganized. It is heavy, tiring work, and usually, by the time we finish for the day, we are covered in dust and grit. The Vajan Kata is a helpful landmark because almost everyone knows where the scales are located. We don't have a big lobby or a fancy waiting area for people. It is mostly just the outdoor yard and a small shed where we keep our tools and all the paperwork. People stop by to see what we have in stock, and we just walk them around the different plots to show them the slabs we have available. It is a very hands-on business. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the way we handle our daily work hasn't changed much at all. We show up, move the stone around, and talk to the people who need it. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the street and things get a little chaotic, but we always manage to get it sorted. It is a busy life here, but we like it.
