Our office is at Flat No. 1 on the ground floor of the Soubhagya Apartments. We are in the Pavana Nagar area of Chinchwad, Pune 411 033. It’s a bit of a long name, Stonewarehouse India And Australian Firm, but we just think of ourselves as the local stone guys. Being in an apartment building means it’s pretty quiet, which helps when we are trying to coordinate things with the folks over in Australia. We handle a lot of logistics for stone moving and storage. It’s not a glamorous showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, the place is full of folders and samples of different rocks and tiles. We started this because we saw a gap in how stone was being moved between here and abroad. Maharashtra is a big place, and Chinchwad is a busy hub, so it keeps us on our toes. We don't really do any advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw our address on a delivery crate. It’s a bit cramped in Flat No. 1 sometimes, especially when a new batch of samples arrives. We just deal with the day-to-day stuff like billing and tracking. It’s an honest business and we’ve been at it for a while now. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just focus on the stone and making sure it gets to the right building site on time without any unnecessary fuss or delays.
