Stone Mart

Down here at Stone Mart, we spend most of our time at Plot No.A-6 and 502 in the Megapolis area. Being in Hinjewadi Phase III means there’s always a lot of construction and people moving around. We’re tucked in near the P C S office, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us once they get into the complex. It’s a large space, and we need every bit of it to keep the different types of stone organized. The warehouse can get a bit chilly in the winter and really hot during the summer months, but that’s just how it is. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to different sites. It’s not a quiet job by any means. There’s always the sound of things being moved or someone calling out from across the floor. We’ve got a small team, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping load up a truck. The office part is mostly just for paperwork and having a cup of tea when things slow down for a minute. Hinjewadi is a busy place, and we see a lot of different people coming through. We don’t really go in for big displays; we just let the material sit where people can see it. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up in the evening.
