Sri- Ram Transmissions

You can find Sri- Ram Transmissions at the Shanti Complex, specifically Plot No.10. We are right next to the Ambika Nursery on Akurdi-Chikhali Road. It is actually quite nice being next to a nursery because you get a bit of green to look at instead of just the road. Akurdi is a heavy industrial belt, so it can get pretty dusty and loud with all the trucks. We work on transmissions and gears, which is heavy, greasy work. Our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. The workshop at Shanti Complex has high ceilings and plenty of tools hanging on the walls. It is a bit of a maze sometimes with all the parts we keep in stock. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us under a machine or at a workbench. We have a small area for paperwork, but even that usually has a layer of shop dust on it. The Akurdi-Chikhali Road is always busy, so we hear the traffic all day long. We have been here for a good stretch of time and know most of the other shop owners on the plot. It is a community of people who work with their hands. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they heard we know our way around a gearbox.
