Spandan Hospital

Our hospital is located in Sant D Colony, which is part of Shastrinagar in Kothrud. If you live around here, you know it's a settled area with a lot of families. The hospital is basically a local fixture now. We deal with the usual daily rush of people coming in for checkups or staying for a few days. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we get the work done. I usually arrive early to see what happened during the night shift and check on the patients in the wards. Kothrud has grown a lot, but this pocket of Shastrinagar still feels a bit more traditional. We have some nurses who have been with us for years, and we all know each other's habits by now. It’s not a shiny new medical center with glass walls. It’s just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. We keep the floors clean and the beds ready. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but that's just life in Pune. We don't do much advertising; people mostly just know we are here in the colony. It's practical work, and we try to keep things simple for everyone who walks in. The gate is usually open, and there’s always someone at the desk to help.
