Soul Purpose

Shivaji Nagar is a busy place to have a shop. We are at Survey No 1430, right on Bajirao Road 1202/3. It’s a lot of traffic out there every single day. Most people just walk past without looking up, but we’ve been here long enough that people know the spot. We handle a mix of things here. It's not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the exact door because the numbers on this road are a bit confusing. We just try to get through the day and help whoever comes in. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized. The floor needs sweeping way more often than you’d think because of the dust from the road. We usually have the radio on in the background, just playing whatever station comes in clear. It’s mostly locals who stop by. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here, just running our daily business on this corner of Shivaji Nagar. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork or tidy the shelves. It’s just us doing what needs to be done. The building itself is old, so it has its quirks, like the light switch that sticks sometimes. But it’s where we are and we’re used to it. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings us.
