Lustre Lounge

Lustre Lounge is situated at Dhole Patil Road 17. It’s a place where things slow down a bit once the sun goes away. I spend my evenings here making sure everything is ready for when people start showing up. The lighting inside is a bit low, which helps hide the scuffs on the floor. We have some old couches that are quite comfortable, even if the fabric is starting to wear thin in some spots. It’s not the quietest place because people come here to talk and hang out with their friends. You can hear the hum of voices and the occasional loud laugh from across the room. I’m usually behind the counter or moving between the tables. It’s a different kind of work than a day job. You see a lot of people in a good mood, which makes the shift easier. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud, and I have to go turn it down a notch. The street outside is always busy with cars looking for parking, but inside it feels a bit tucked away from all that. I’ve worked in other places before, but I like the vibe here. It’s not perfect, and we have our bad days when things break or the plumbing acts up, but we just deal with it. It’s just a regular local spot for people to visit and sit for a while.
