We are located at the Amar Center, specifically in shops five and six. It’s right there at 15 August Chowk in Somwar Peth. Maujpur is a busy place, and our little corner of the building stays pretty active. Home Planet isn’t some massive showroom you’d find in a mall. It is just a couple of shop units we’ve filled up with stuff. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks. The space is a bit tight sometimes because we try to keep a lot on hand. When you walk in, you’ll see us shuffling things around to make room. It’s a bit of a maze in there, but we like it that way. 15 August Chowk is a landmark for many, so people usually don't have a hard time finding where we are. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people doing social media. It is just us taking care of the shop and talking to whoever walks through the door. Some days are packed with people and other days it is just us tidying the shelves. We’ve seen shops come and go in Somwar Peth, but we are still here, doing our thing. It’s a local life and it suits us fine. We just try to be helpful and keep the shop running smoothly. We usually stay open a bit later on Saturdays if there are customers around.
