Sinhgad College

Paud Road is always busy, especially in the mornings when the students start arriving here at Sinhgad College. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and you can see the history in the way the buildings look and how the trees have grown over the years. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we need. Most of the staff live around Pune, so we know the area well. Sometimes the traffic on the main road is a bit much, but once you get inside the gate, it settles down a little. We spend a lot of time in the offices or walking between the different departments. The classrooms have that old wooden desk smell, and the fans are always humming in the background. We have students coming from all over Maharashtra, really. They hang out by the canteen during breaks, talking and drinking tea. It’s just a normal college life here. We don’t have much in the way of big decorations or anything. It’s more about the lectures and the exams. Sometimes the rains in Pune make things a bit messy on the walkways, but we just get on with it. You’ll usually find someone at the front desk if you need to ask about admissions or paperwork. We keep the registers and files stacked up, and there’s always a lot of printing going on. It’s just how things are run day to day on Paud Road.
