We are located in Shop Number 4 at Geetanjali Apartments, right on the New DP Road in Aundh. If you’re heading towards Medipoint Hospital, you’ll pass us just before you get there. The shop is small but we’ve managed to pack a lot of electrical supplies into every corner. There are wires hanging from the ceiling and boxes of switches stacked up high. Most of our days are spent helping people who just moved into the nearby apartments and need basic stuff like bulbs or a new extension cord. It gets pretty busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes something in their house stopped working. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is just knowing where things are on the shelves. Sometimes we sit out on the plastic chairs in front of the shop when it’s quiet. We know the neighbors and the security guards from the nearby buildings. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t do fancy displays or big sales events. We just open up at the usual time and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s a bit messy behind the counter with all the loose tools and half-opened packets, but we know exactly where everything is. Being near the hospital means people use it as a landmark to find us, which helps.
