We have our workshop at Harshada Residency, which is on the Chinchwad Tarsali Vadala Road. If you walk past, you can usually smell the sawdust before you see us. We’ve been doing wood work here for quite some time now. The space is filled with planks of wood, saws, and different types of glue. It’s a bit cramped because we keep adding more materials, but we manage. Most of what we do is making furniture or fixing cabinets for people living nearby. We don’t have a showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just look at what’s currently on the workbench. My hands are usually covered in wood dust or some kind of stain. We don’t use fancy computers to design things; we just draw it out on a piece of paper or right on the wood itself. The neighbors sometimes complain about the noise from the sanding machines, so we try to do the loudest work in the middle of the day. It’s a honest way to make a living. We don't put out ads in the paper or anything. People just see the work we did for their friend and come find us at number 3. The Chinchwad area is always busy, and there’s a lot of traffic on Vadala Road. We just stay in our shop and keep cutting and joining until the job is done. It’s simple, manual work and we like it that way. Every piece is different, and that keeps things interesting for us.
