Shubham Skin Clinic

You’ll find this skin clinic on the first floor of Shubhankar Residency. It’s on Suncity Road, which is pretty close to the Anand Nagar Fire Brigade. Being in a residential building means it feels a bit different than a big hospital. You have to walk up the stairs or take the lift to the first floor. The area around Sinhagad Road is usually packed with traffic, especially in the evenings. Inside the clinic, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the air conditioner. We have some posters on the wall about different skin conditions and a small desk where the receptionist sits. The waiting room isn’t huge, so when there are more than five people, it starts to feel a bit tight. We have some plants in the corner that someone forgets to water sometimes. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can see the fire trucks if they ever go out. Most patients are people from the nearby apartments in Suncity. The staff spends their day scheduling appointments and cleaning the equipment. It’s a clean place but it doesn’t have that sterile, scary hospital feel. It’s more like visiting a neighbor’s office. We have a small corner for files and a little sink in the consultation room. It’s a straightforward setup for a local clinic and we’ve been at this Shubhankar Residency spot for a while now. It’s easy to find once you see the fire brigade.
