Shriram Earth Movers

We've been over here at Shewanta Appartment on Sinhagad Road for a while now. Most people know the spot near Mahatma Gandhi Road. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic, but we just keep doing our thing with the earth moving equipment. It started small, just a couple of machines and a lot of grease on our hands. My cousin helped me set up the first office space. We deal with the heavy stuff, you know, digging and moving dirt for various sites around the city. Sometimes the rain makes everything a mess and we have to reschedule work, which is a headache, but that's just how it goes in this line of work. The machines need a lot of maintenance to keep running right. We spend half our time just tightening bolts and checking oil levels so nothing breaks down in the middle of a job. It isn't fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Most days we are out on the field rather than sitting in the office. If you come by the apartment building, someone is usually around to talk, though we might be covered in dust. We just try to get the jobs done when people ask. It’s been a long journey since we first parked the first backhoe here. We know the local soil pretty well by now. It's just us, working hard every day.
