Shrikrishna Marble & Stone Co

Our spot is at 32/2/6/A in the Manolikar Estate, right off Karve Road in Erandwane. We are pretty close to the Mehendale Garage, so you might hear the sounds of cars being fixed while you are here. Being opposite Raja Mantri Garden is nice because it gives us a bit of green to look at across the busy road. At Shrikrishna Marble & Stone Co, we deal with a lot of heavy material. The yard is usually full of different stones and the dust that comes with them. We wear boots because the ground is never really clean when you are working with marble. We spend our time loading up trucks and talking to people who come in looking for something specific for their homes. Karve Road is always humming with traffic, which keeps us feeling like we are in the middle of everything. We don't have any fancy posters or a big marketing budget. We just have our stone and the tools we use to move it. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out, but it’s what we do. We take pride in just being here every day and getting the slabs out to where they need to go. Sometimes we sit out front when things get quiet for a minute. It’s just a local business trying to do things the right way, one heavy stone slab at a time.
