Shri Shantishuri Granites & Marble

If you are around Kondhwa, you will find us near the Khadi Machine Chowk. Shri Shantishuri Granites & Marble is not really a store in the usual sense; it is more like a big yard where we store all our inventory. We have rows and rows of granite and marble slabs leaning against the walls. Most of our day is spent walking around with a bucket of water, splashing it on the stones so people can see the colors properly. It is quite dusty out here because of all the construction nearby, and the ground is never really flat. We don't have a marketing team or any brochures. We just rely on people seeing our sign from the road or hearing about us from their neighbors. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane. Sometimes the weather is not great, but the work has to happen anyway. We try to keep a good variety of local stones in stock so people have options for their kitchens or floors. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one where you can see the stone before you pay for it. The office is just a small shack in the corner where we do the bills and keep out of the rain. It is a simple setup, but it works for us and the people who come to see us every day.
