Shri Ganesh Provision Stores

I've been running Shri Ganesh Provision Stores here in Pimpri for a good while now. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just your regular neighborhood spot where people stop by for their daily needs. Every morning starts pretty much the same way, opening up the shutters early when the air is still a bit cool before the Pimpri traffic really gets going. We stock a bit of everything, from lentils and rice to those small packets of biscuits the kids always ask for. The shelves are usually pretty crowded because I try to squeeze in whatever the regulars might need. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we get a big delivery, and there are boxes sitting in the aisle for a few hours. It’s just me and a couple of helpers mostly. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least what they usually buy. If someone is short a few rupees, we just catch up next time. That’s just how it works around here. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day and dealing with the heat, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the store. But then evening comes, the lights go on, and it gets busy again with people coming home from work. We just keep things moving, making sure the milk is cold and the grains are clean. It’s a simple living, nothing more, nothing less.
