Shreenath Marble & Stone

We are out at Survey No 35/1 in Dattnagar, which is in the Katraj area. The best way to find us is to look for the Trimurti Mangal Karyalaya, we are right opposite that. Shreenath Marble & Stone is mostly an open-air yard. We have big slabs of stone and marble leaned up against each other. It’s a lot of physical work moving these things around. Katraj is a bit of a climb and the weather can be a bit different up here. When it rains, the yard gets muddy and we have to be careful not to slip. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling the stones and talking to the people who stop by. Most of our customers are locals from Dattnagar or people passing through Katraj. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to move and cut the stone. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes we just sit on a bench and wait for the next customer while the traffic goes by. The stone can be very heavy and dangerous if you aren't paying attention. We’ve had a few close calls over the years. We just try to provide what people need for their floors or counters. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
