Our shop is located in Shukrawar Peth on the Kaggadaspura Main Road. The shop number is 1478, and we are quite close to the Shanipar Mandai Road. It’s a very busy part of Pune, especially with the market nearby. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of chemical bottles and pharmaceutical supplies. It has a very specific smell, a bit like a hospital or a science lab. We have high wooden shelves that require a ladder to reach the top rows. It’s a bit of a workout every time someone needs something from the upper levels. The floor is made of smooth stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We spend a lot of our time checking orders and making sure the labels on everything are correct. It’s a business that requires a lot of attention to detail, so we try not to get distracted by the noise from the street. We have an old desk where we keep all the ledgers and records. Everything is done manually, which takes time but feels more reliable to us. Sometimes the traffic on the road is so loud we have to shout to be heard. We don't have any bright signs or fancy displays. It’s just a plain storefront where we provide the supplies that people in the industry need for their work. We’ve been here for many years.
