If you find yourself in Kudalwadi, you’ve probably seen Dipti Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. We are right at 306/7 in Narayan Peth, pretty much directly opposite where Vijay Talkies used to be or is, depending on who you ask for directions. This part of town is always noisy. There is always a truck idling somewhere or someone moving crates. We deal with chemicals and some pharma stuff, so it’s a lot of paperwork and making sure everything is stored right. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we are always cleaning the counters. It’s a bit of a maze around here with all the narrow lanes, but once you find the landmark of the talkies, it’s easy enough. We’ve seen the area change over the years. Some businesses leave, others come in, but we’re still here at the same old spot. It’s mostly just us working through the orders. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just the guys in the back and whoever is at the front desk that day. It gets tiring when the sun is beating down on the roof, but that's just part of the job in this area. We usually have lunch together and then it's back to checking the labels and making sure the deliveries are ready to go out for the day.
