Shree Ganesh Granite

Shree Ganesh Granite is located over on the BRT Road near Dhange Chowk in Ravet. The yard has a lot of heavy stone slabs standing around, mostly granite of different colors and patterns. We also have a presence related to Swaminarayan Nagar and the Nizampura Chhani Road in Vadodara, and our spot here is opposite Nirvati Lawns. It is a dusty kind of business because cutting and moving stone is messy work. You will usually find us out in the yard checking the stock or helping load things onto trucks. The sun gets pretty hot out there on the BRT Road, so we spend a lot of time under the shade when we can. The slabs are heavy and cold to the touch, and we have to be careful moving them so nothing cracks. It is not a showroom with air conditioning and soft music. It is a place where trucks come and go, and workers are busy with heavy lifting. People come by to look at the stones for their kitchens or floors, and we show them what we have available in the stacks. Sometimes the inventory changes fast, and other times we have the same pieces for a bit. We just keep things moving and try to keep the yard organized, even though the stone dust seems to get onto everything. It is a straightforward business, and we like the physical nature of the work we do every day.
