At Kothrud North Main Road 5, you will find Shivam Property Maintainers & Services. We spend a lot of our time out and about fixing things or checking on different buildings. Our home base is just a simple shop where we keep our tools and some spare materials like pipes and wires. It’s often a bit messy because of all the equipment lying around. We start early because that’s when most of the maintenance issues get reported. Kothrud is a big area so we are often driving back and forth. The shop has a heavy metal shutter that we pull down when we are out on a job. When we are inside, we are usually cleaning the tools or ordering more supplies. It’s physical work and our clothes often end up a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone stops by and we aren't there, they usually just call our mobile. It is a practical business for people who need things repaired or looked after. We’ve been at this for a while and we know which houses have the old plumbing or the tricky electrical setups. It's just what we do. The work is hard sometimes but it keeps us moving and the days go by quickly enough. We just try to get to everyone as fast as we can.
