Shiv Traders

Shiv Traders is located in the main market of Nira. We are in the Purandar Taluka, right on the Baramati Road. This is a very busy area, especially on market days when everyone comes into town. Our shop is right in the middle of all the action. We trade in various goods that people in the Nira area need. Whether it is grains or hardware, we try to keep what the local folks are looking for. The Baramati Road is always full of vehicles and people carrying things back and forth. Our shop has been here for years, and it has seen a lot of changes in the town since we first opened the doors. We open early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Usually, the first thing we do is sweep the front and set out some of the items for people to see. It is a lot of talking to people all day long. Some customers have been coming to us since I was a young boy helping my father out. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are. We keep our records in thick ledgers that are sitting on the back shelf. It is a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the main road, but that is just how it is in Nira. My nephew works with me now, learning the trade bit by bit. We focus on getting through the day’s work.
