Shirke Construction Equipment is located over at 72/76 in the Mundhwa area. It’s a fairly large space because construction equipment takes up a lot of room. Mundhwa has changed a lot over the years, growing from a quiet spot to a much busier hub, and we’ve been right here through it all. Our yard and workshop are usually filled with various machines in different states of repair or readiness. It’s a muddy place when it rains and a dusty one when it’s dry, but that’s the nature of construction work. We don’t have a fancy showroom with shiny floors. Most of our space is dedicated to the actual equipment and the tools we use to maintain it. The staff here are mostly people who grew up around machinery and know their way around an engine or a hydraulic system. We spend our days checking schedules, moving equipment, and talking to site managers about what they need. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s essential for all the building going on around us. We don't spend money on big advertisements or slogans. People know us because they see our equipment on sites or because they’ve been dealing with us for decades. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the projects moving. When the day is done, we lock up the gates and head home, ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
