Shankheshwara Alloys

You can find Shankheshwara Alloys over in the Gultekdi area, specifically down in Matka Galli in Owalwadi. The address is Vithalwadi 427/2, but even with the number, it can be a bit tricky for newcomers to navigate the narrow lanes. This part of the city is packed with small businesses and people moving around. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We deal with various alloys, so there are always heavy crates and loose pieces of metal sitting around. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we get a big delivery in. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything shiny; it's just a plain entrance that leads into the main work floor. The walls are lined with shelves that are mostly overflowing with tools and scrap pieces we might need later. During the monsoon, the rain hammers down on the roof and makes it hard to hear anything, so we end up shouting to talk to each other. It’s a very local vibe here. We know the guys at the tea stall on the corner by name, and they know how we like our tea. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a fancy business park, but it suits us just fine. We just focus on the metal and the daily tasks that come with being in Matka Galli. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant struggle.
