Nutan Alloys is based in the Bima Complex, specifically at C-2061. If you've ever been to the Iron and Steel Market, you know it's a hectic place to be. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of metal clanging is constant throughout the day. We deal with various types of alloys, which means we spend a lot of time weighing things and checking different grades. The office is right in the thick of it. It’s a bit small and we have samples of different metals sitting on every available surface and shelf. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the dust from the market, but we try our best to keep it decent. We spend a lot of time talking to traders and trying to get the best prices for what we need. It’s a tough business and you have to be quick on your feet. We don't really have a set schedule; we just work until the day’s orders are handled. Sometimes that means staying late when a big shipment comes in at the last minute. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there is always something to do. There isn't really a corporate culture here, just a group of guys trying to make a living in the steel trade. It’s practical and it’s what we’ve always done. The market has its own rhythm and we just follow along.
