Down at Plot No. 233 in Pcntda Bhosari, things stay pretty busy with the sound of metal and machinery. We have been operating out of this spot for quite some time. It’s an industrial area, so there is always a layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. The shop floor is where most of the work happens. You’ll see sparks flying and hear the hum of the equipment all morning. We deal with a lot of welding work and metal parts. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for hours. Our neighbors in Bhosari are mostly other workshops, so the whole street has that heavy industrial feel to it. We keep our supplies stacked against the back wall. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing into the plot because the road gets narrow when people park their bikes outside. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We usually have a lunch break together in the small corner we cleared out for a table. There’s always someone coming by to drop off a part or ask about a job. It is just a straightforward place where we get the work done and head home.
