School Of Photography

The School Of Photography is located on Ambegaon Satara Road. It’s a busy road that leads out of the city so there is always a lot of movement. Our building is a simple one with a few rooms dedicated to different parts of taking pictures. We have one room that we try to keep dark for certain tasks and others that have big windows for natural light. There are tripods and light stands sitting in the corners and sometimes people trip over the cables if they aren't careful. We spend a lot of time talking about how to frame a shot or how the light hits a certain object. It’s not a corporate office with cubicles and suits. We usually wear jeans and comfortable shoes because we are on our feet a lot. The walls have some old frames hanging up but they aren't always straight. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logs and the mail. The traffic on Ambegaon Satara Road can be loud but once you are inside it’s not so bad. We do our work and help whoever comes through the door looking to learn about their camera. It’s a plain place with a lot of gear scattered around but it works for us. We just keep things moving and focus on getting the shots right. Most days we are just busy checking the lenses and making sure the batteries are charged.
