Satyam Interiors & Co.

Satyam Interiors & Co. is based out of Plot No. 50 in the Sahakar Nagar area. We are in the Tulshibagwale Colony, specifically Lane No. 4, right in the Ratnadeep building. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve set up our workspace here to be close to where people actually live. We spend our days thinking about how to fix up rooms and make spaces work better. It’s mostly measuring things, looking at samples, and trying to figure out what fits where. We started this because we liked working with our hands and seeing a project come together. It's not always easy, sometimes the materials arrive late or a measurement is slightly off and we have to start over. That’s just how it goes with interior work. The shop is usually filled with wood scraps, fabric swatches, and a lot of sawdust. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and music. It’s just us and our tools. Most of our neighbors know us by now because they see us loading the van every morning. We try to keep the noise down, but sometimes you have to cut something. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the process of seeing a plain room turn into something useful. We keep our notes on a big whiteboard that’s mostly covered in scribbles and phone numbers. It’s our way of keeping track of what needs doing.
