Saraswati Vishwa Education Society

You can find the society office over at Shukrawar Peth, right near the Mahakali Caves Road in Chakala. We are in unit W/102. It is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic and people moving around outside. The office itself is full of folders and old records because that is just the nature of education work. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most days are spent handling paperwork or talking to people who drop by with questions about the programs. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we just added things as we needed them over the years. There is a large window that looks out toward the street, but we usually keep the blinds down to stop the glare on the computer screens. It’s not a very quiet place, especially in the afternoons when the shops nearby are in full swing. We have a small pantry where we keep the kettle going for tea. Sometimes the hallway gets blocked with boxes of books that need to be sent out to different places. It’s a very practical setup without any bells or whistles. We just focus on getting the administrative side of things done so the schools can run. If you come by, you’ll probably see me at the main desk sorting through the mail. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to the daily pace of the office by now.
