Sanika Marble & Granite/Shree Om Marbles & Granite

Our place goes by a couple of names, Sanika or Shree Om, but it’s all the same yard here on the Mumbai Pune Bypass Highway. We are located at Survey No. 29/22, H No 507/3, which is right near Aroh Garden. Being on the bypass means we get a lot of traffic passing by, and it’s a very busy stretch of road. We have a mix of both marble and granite because people usually want to see both before they decide on something for their home. The yard is quite big, and we try to keep it organized, though with the constant arrivals of new stone, it’s a never-ending job. We spend our days dealing with the logistics of moving these heavy slabs. It’s not just about selling stone; it’s about making sure the pieces aren't cracked and that the customer gets exactly what they saw in the pile. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. We’re out there in the elements most of the time. If it rains, things get muddy, and if it’s hot, the stone gets warm to the touch. But that’s the nature of the business. We are local people and we talk to our customers like neighbors. We don't have any scripted speeches. We just show the stone, tell them the price, and figure out the delivery. It’s a straightforward way to run things.
