Samrat & Co.

Samrat & Co. has been operating out of Plot No. 630 on Shivaji Road for quite some time. We are right in the middle of Shukrawar Peth, which is one of those parts of the city that never really sleeps. The streets are narrow and always crowded with people and scooters. It makes getting supplies in a bit of a headache, but we are used to the chaos by now. Our building is old, like most things in this area. Inside, it’s a mix of paperwork and physical stock. We don't have fancy desks. Most of us just use whatever flat surface is available. The air is thick with the sound of the city outside and the hum of our own equipment. Working in Shukrawar Peth means you’re never far from a good tea stall, which is helpful during the long afternoons. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s a functional space meant for getting things done. The walls could use a coat of paint, and the light bulbs flicker sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific part, we can usually find it in the back under a bit of dust. It’s a traditional way of doing business, face to face and without much fuss. We like being part of the local buzz on Shivaji Road even if it’s loud. It feels like home to us.
