We have been here on the main road for quite a while now. Most days start way before the sun is even up. The truck pulls in and we start getting everything ready for the morning rush. Pimpri Madhupura is a busy place, and Mojdi Bazar is always loud with people moving around. We just focus on getting the meat cut right. People come in looking for specific cuts for their Sunday curry or a small kilo for a weekday meal. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is how a butcher shop works. My hands are usually busy with the knives and the chopping block. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just the meat, the scale, and the customers who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the small space, especially during festivals. You hear the sounds of the traffic outside and the knives hitting the wood inside. It is hard work and my back usually aches by the evening, but it is what we do. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a customer wants something specific, we do our best to find it in the stock. There is no big secret to it, just showing up every day and making sure the mutton is fresh for the people in the neighborhood. We aren't doing anything special, just running the shop as best as we can.
