Salsa Sensation

Our dance spot is located in Hadapsar, specifically in the Gef Block area. If you are coming from the West of Chord Road, you will find us easily enough. Salsa Sensation is just a small group of us who love to dance. The room we use has high ceilings which is nice for when the evening classes get crowded. We have a sound system that is getting a bit old now, but it still works fine for what we need. It is a no-frills kind of place. We do not have a lounge or any fancy amenities for people. There is just a small partitioned area to change clothes and a few racks to keep your shoes. We spend our evenings here teaching steps and counting out the beats for the students. Sometimes we stay late after everyone leaves just to practice our own routines. The floor is made of wood and we try to keep it polished so it is not too sticky for the dancers. It is a lot of hard work keeping the place clean because people are always coming in and out with dirty shoes. The neighbors are mostly other offices, so in the evenings, we usually have the whole building to ourselves. We always have a few big jugs of water sitting out for everyone to use. It is a community space where the music is always playing.
