Our academy is based at Malhar Bunglow in Pune, right opposite the Krishna Mandir. We are part of the Vidisha Society on Plot Number 34, which is in the 411052 area. It’s a nice enough spot and having the temple across the street gives the place a bit of a calm feeling, even when things get busy inside. Since we do salon services and training, there is usually a lot going on with hair and beauty tools. You might smell shampoo or hairspray as soon as you walk through the door. We use the different rooms in the bungalow for different classes. It’s not like those big corporate training centers; it feels more like a home that has been turned into a school. The floors are usually covered in hair or bits of paper by the end of a long day. We don't have a big marketing team, just the staff here who know how to cut hair and teach others the trade. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and we often have regulars who have been coming to see us for years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a full class, but we make it work somehow. We spend our time focused on the techniques and making sure the students know what they are doing. It is practical work and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it really is.
