Sai Hardware & Paints

We are located in Dhanakawadi, specifically at the Tirumal Complex. It’s tucked behind Bharti Vidyapith, so we see a lot of students and college staff passing by every day. The Maharana Mitra Mandal Chowk is just right there, making it a busy intersection. At Sai Hardware & Paints, we mostly handle the daily needs of the neighborhood. If someone’s tap is leaking or they need a small tin of paint to touch up a wall, they come to us. We keep a lot of hardware items like screws, hammers, and pipes alongside the paint buckets. The shop is usually a bit messy because there are so many small items to keep track of. We spend a lot of time searching through bins for the right size of bolt. It’s a one-man show most of the time, though sometimes a nephew helps out. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just a local hardware store where you can get what you need without much fuss. The afternoon heat can be a bit much, but the building stays relatively cool. We get a lot of people asking for advice on how to fix things, and we tell them what we know. It’s a friendly place. We’ve seen the area grow a lot over the years with all the new buildings coming up. We just stay here and keep our doors open for whoever stops by. It’s a lot of work but it’s our life.
