The shop is located at Number 110 in the Market Yard over in Gultekdi. If you know the area, it’s right near the garage where they’re always fixing something, so there is a lot of clanking and engine noise most of the day. The yard itself is a busy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We spend most of our time inside the shop dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit cramped with all the items we keep on hand, but we know where everything is. The walls are a plain color and we have some old shelves that have seen better days. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the shutters going up all along the row. It gets quite hot in the summer months because of all the concrete in the market yard. We just keep the small fan going and try to stay cool. People from the nearby shops often stop by for a chat or to ask if we’ve seen a delivery truck. It’s a real community feeling here, even if it’s just about work. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some space in the back. It’s honest work and we’ve been here long enough that the surroundings feel like home. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the front, but we just put a bucket down and keep going.
