Our hospital is over in Erandwane, right near Deccan Gymkhana and not too far from the Shivajinagar railway station. Because we are so close to the station, we see a lot of people coming in from outside the immediate neighborhood. It’s a central part of town, so the traffic on the streets outside is almost always heavy. The building itself has been around for a while and feels like a regular part of the Erandwane landscape. Inside, things are usually moving fast. We have nurses and assistants running between floors and doctors trying to stay on schedule with their appointments. It’s not a quiet place, but it is a functional one. We don’t use any polished marketing language to describe ourselves because we are just a local hospital doing our daily work. The rooms are set up for care and we try to keep the equipment in good working order. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or a light bulb needs changing, and we just handle it like any other business. Most of the people working here have been part of the team for years, so we know each other's habits and how to get things done efficiently. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place in Pune, just a reliable one where you can get medical help. We focus on the patients and the daily tasks that keep the hospital running from one shift to the next.
